Tank Dell remains as resilient as ever. The Houston Texans’ second-year wide receiver recently took some time out of his busy workout schedule to help out at a local Chick-fil-A.
Dell, whose rookie year tragically ended after suffering a fractured fibula, always tries his best to give back to the community like his quarterback CJ Stroud. A video of the 24-year-old playmaker surfaced on social media in which he could be seen working Chick-fil-A at in Rosenberg, Texas.

After missing out on the business half of the 2023 season, including the playoffs, Dell focused on improving his stamina and skill on the field. Under the guidance of Allen, he completed rehab at an astonishing pace.
In the meantime, the Texans brought in former Bills receiver Stefon Diggs. With the All-Pro playmaker on the roster, it’s guaranteed that Dell’s time would get cut.
Despite the increased competition, Dell remains vigilant and wants to prove that he has improved from last season.
I feel like I'm way better than I was last year at this time. [With] the little bit of experience, I got before I got injured, I already know the playbook. [So] I don't have to put too much stress on that. I'm just working every day. I know I'm ready.Tank Dell said per KPRC2 Houston
When asked about the Texans’ chances in the new season, Dell sounded like he was Deion Sanders.
We ready… We know we have a target on our back [and] we got a lot of things we want to accomplish: Super Bowl, playoffs, things like that. So, we're ready to go to work.Tank Dell said
It’s fortunate for the Texans that Dell managed to shake off his offseason scare. While entering a bar in Dallas back in April, Dell found himself in the middle of a gunfight. Despite staying hidden from the line of fire, a stray bullet grazed him on his shoulder.

After the Police arrived, they admitted Dell to the local hospital. Stroud, who was in Philadelphia cheering for the 76ers, revealed that he feared the worst. He said the incident was an eye-opener for all.
It was a good moment for me to realize that I can't go home and do the same things that I was doing too… It's a blessing to have a brother like this.CJ Stroud said
Now that Dell is back and running routes in practice, Stroud can concentrate on winning NFL games in the new season. The Texans will kick off their 2024 campaign against the Indianapolis Colts on September 7.
