Taylor Chamberlain is sharing her health routine – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the fitness expert shows off her famous figure in a purple workout set. She shared the photos and videos via her Instagram Stories. In the clips she does Pilates, drinks a cup of coffee and eats a protein-fueled breakfast. What other ways does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Taylor is a coffee drinker. "Despite popular belief, caffeine is not bad for you," she told Bodybuilding. For extra flavor and sweetness, Taylor adds a tablespoon of vanilla-almond milk creamer, which keeps her within her macros for the day. Science continues to prove that drinking coffee is great for your health. In fact, a new 2022 study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that drinking two to three cups a day of most types of coffee – especially a mild to moderate intake of ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee – may protect you from cardiovascular disease and an early death. Researchers found "significant reductions" in the risk for coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure and stroke for all three types of coffee. But, only ground and instant coffee with caffeine decreased risk for arrhythmia, or irregular heartbeat.

"I try and have well-balanced meals throughout the day, with a steady flow of protein to help utilize protein synthesis to its max. I also try and make sure I am getting carbs in before and after my workouts (especially after—whether I am dieting or not). At night I tend to have a bit more carbs because I find that they help me sleep a lot better," she tells Bodybuilding.

"I was about 12 or 13 when I first remember going to the gym, and my mom and dad kind of showing me the ropes," Chamberlain told Bodybuilding in another interview. "I just fell in love with the way I felt afterward. My heart rate was up, the endorphins came, and I felt strong. I just became addicted."

"Recently I've been working really hard to listen to my body, and on days where I need to just slow down a bit yoga has been such a great way to show my body some love," Taylor revealed in a social media post. "The video is sped up, but take your time with each movement to fully feel the stretch. Complete each flow 3-4 times! Comment below if you're planning to try this flow!!"

Taylor divides her workouts by muscle groups. "When you're targeting a specific muscle group, your mind-muscle connection is extremely important," explains Chamberlain. "Always try to visualize the muscle as you're working on it."
