Friday marks the starting point of a new 33,000 square foot youth sports center coming to the city of Nampa.

Created by four local brothers, Mettle Sports will feature four full sized basketball courts, a speed and agility center, dance studio and more.

The sports facility will be located in the eastern part of the city near the Nampa dog park. The brothers tell CBS 2 News that Mettle Sports will have space available to rent for kids ages 8-18. CAP Ed Credit Union is partnering with the Keller brothers, who hope to have open by this fall.

"There's been a big explosion in the club basketball, club volleyball, all these club sports are just more popular and parents want to have their kids have this opportunity but there's not enough space in Nampa in order to practice," the brothers told CBS 2.
