Chick-fil-A, which placed No. 1 onUSA Today's 10 Best Reader's Choice Awards for best fast food restaurant in America for nine years straight, has been dethroned.

The popular chicken chain was beaten out by Del Taco, which placed 1st, and "finger-lickin' good" KFC, which took 2nd place.

KFC operates over 25,000 locations throughout the world. Chick-fil-A operates around 3,000 restaurants in 48 states, while Del Taco only operates about 600 in just 16 states.
