LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Veteran agent and promoter Andy Somers has joined APA as president of concerts at the agency.

A number of Somer's clients will make the transition from The Agency Group to APA, including Breaking Benjamin, Stiff Little Fingers, The Circle Jerks, Hot Hot Heat, Social Distortion and Toadies among others.

Prior to making the move to APA, Somers most recently was a senior vice president at The Agency Group, where he co-helmed the company's Los Angeles operation. Somers got his start in the industry as an independent agent at Bandwagon, where he repped artists such as The Circle Jerks and Slayer.

Since then, he has taken turns at Frontier Touring and ICM and re-launched Bandwagon before signing on with TAG in 2001 to help launch the company's L.A. offices. – Staff Writers
